The Department of Human Genetics at Emory University, Decatur, GA offers an excellent explanation of "genetic counseling" and "genetic counselor" and "what happens in a genetic counseling session". Emory University has 16 genetic counselors. Dr. Palmer sees clients from northern Nevada, southern Nevada, and parts of California.
